Electrical Engineering Manager

Job Summary :

The Electrical Engineering Manager leads a team of electrical engineers in the design, development, testing, and implementation of electrical systems. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage electrical engineering teams across multiple projects.
  • Develop and maintain electrical systems to achieve optimal operational efficiency.
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Establish and enforce engineering standards, protocols, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering goals with company objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international electrical codes and safety standards.
  • Provide technical mentorship and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Approve technical documentation, drawings, and specifications.

Identify and resolve engineering challenges and implement improvements.

  • Stay current with advancements in electrical engineering and emerging technologies.

    • Required Qualifications :

    Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).

  • 5–7 years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 1–3 years in a leadership role.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certifications (e.g., PMP, CSEP).
  • Proficiency in electrical design software and project management tools.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards (e.g., IEEE, NEC, IEC).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

    • Preferred Skills :

  • Experience in renewable energy systems or industrial automation.
  • Budgeting and financial management experience.
  • Familiarity with vendor and subcontractor management.
  • Strong focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
