Overview :

The Retail Workforce Analyst role is to lead the forecasting, scheduling, and reporting for each of the regions that they are assigned, as well as for understating the scheduling process such as shift swaps, PTO, and coverage request.

The Retail Workforce Analyst works as a consultant for their assigned district managers in regards of scheduling decisions.

  • Responsibilities
  • Forecasting, planning, and work volumes for Retail staff, ensuring that staffing levels allow for optimal performance.
  • The ability to summarize, visualize, and present data.

It is also very important to possess knowledge of key metrics, including utilization, service levels, handle time and T-SLH.

  • Building schedules
  • Staff Optimization and efficiency
  • Improve processes and increase efficiency of operations by recommending necessary changes

    Qualifications :

  • Full time availability
  • They must possess strong communication skills to ensure that employees are kept informed of developments effectively, and to ensure that all appropriate staff are aware of issues
  • Workforce analyst must be able to work independently as well as function effectively as a member of a team
  • Ability to establish an efficient workplace environment, therefore, it is important that they are able to manage a range of tasks and prioritize their responsibilities, and meet deadlines
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Office, in order to store data, create reports, produce schedules and perform other tasks.
  • They must have working knowledge of workforce management software used to manage schedules, work flow, and statistical data
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced situation and to handle stress, as well as to adapt to rapid changes in information, process, direction, or immediate workflow
  • Possess analytical skills essential for reviewing information, analyzing data, and making appropriate recommendations for improvement
