Collaborate with innovative 3Mers around the world
As a Sales Incentive Plan Specialist for the Americas Integrated Business Operations organization, you will play a key role in calculating and paying variable incentives for Sales Incentive Plan eligible participants across the Americas. In this role you will become a fundamental part of the growth of the businesses that make up 3M, directly supporting the measurement of compliance with the growth objectives of our sales force, providing direct advice to both the participants and the management team.
The impact you will make in this role
Implementing and administering sales incentive plans aligned to 3M Marketing and Sales
Professional business strategies.
Processing payments and providing supporting documentation and reports.
Developing proactive approaches to identify compensation challenges within the sales and account management teams and developing solutions.
Assisting in daily decision-making support in response to requests from the business
Becoming a subject matter expert with sales incentive data and its data sources
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following Minimum qualifications :
Advanced degree from an accredited learning institution.
At least 2 years of experience in Sales Operations, Customer Operations, HR Operations or related role.
Excellent communication skills both written and oral – English and Spanish
Minimum of three (3) years' experience with Microsoft Excel, Pivot Tables, and Formulas
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include :
Functional knowledge of SAP and Varicent
Experience using Salesforce
QlikView and Power BI capabilities
Comfort with navigating complex data structures
Strong business acumen
Customer service and quality-oriented mindset.
Strong analytical competencies and aptitude for data analysis.

Structured approach to effectively and efficiently planning own workload.
