Employee & Labor Relations ManagerFPC Bangor is working with a large paper mill looking for an Employee & Labor Relations Manager.Responsibilities :
- Maintain, develop and implement program objectives, policies and procedures.
- Develop and pursue new goals and objectives for improvement
- Assist management in understanding and implementing company policies
- Analyze information for union proposals, pay scales and wages, benefits, and working conditions
- Research & explain laws and legal affairs concerning employment to managers, supervisors and employees
- Collaborate with legal counsel and represent the company in contract negotiations and grievancesRequirements :
- BS Employee Relations, Human Resources or related field
- 6 + years of professional human resource administration including employee relations
- Thorough understanding of human resources, labor relations principles, state and federal laws and negotiation techniques
- Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with employees, labor officials, and managers
